Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t find it, here contact us.

Here is a quick guide to help you with any questions you may have about Yuma Web Design. If you don’t find the information you are looking for, you can email any questions you have through the Yuma Web Design contact form.

I don't know exactly what I need.

That’s okay we can meet and talk it over. You can contact me at info@yumawebdesign.com and we can schedule a meeting time, in a public place, like Starbucks where we can get a drink to talk it over.

How much will it cost?

The starting price for any project is $50 for the first hour. After that, it depends on your needs and your project’s requirements. A small website with 1-10 pages can take from 10-20 hours ($500-$1000). A larger website can take 20-50 hours to build ($1000-$2500).

What type of website is this?

All websites are built on the WordPress CMS. I choose this because it is what I am most familiar with, it has great stability, and security for it is excellent. It is easy to keep updated and so versatile. The plugins available for WordPress are nearly infinite and whatever functionality a business needs is usually possible on a WordPress website.

Do I have to pay the cost up front?

I ask that you pay half down as a deposit before I begin work on your project. The remaining amount can be paid when the project is completed. There will be a contract with the price and the promised services that we can both sign before the project starts. I will give you a receipt of payment and a copy of the contract.

I will be able to take credit or debit (via square) or cash.

Can I call you? Where's your phone number?

Yuma Web Design is a micro business. All calls between me and customers will go directly to my phone. I don’t want my personal number on the website. Once a contract is signed, I can give you a card with my number so you can contact me with questions.

However, email is always best because we can both go back and look at the conversation to make sure of what was said and to make sure we are on the same page about changes, project requirements, and all the details that go into creating and maintaining websites.

Can you teach me how to use my website?

If you have specific questions about how to use certain features of your website, I can make a little illustrated instruction document for you on how to use that feature for no cost. If you require an in-person walk-through on how to use your WordPress website, It will be about $50 for a session.

  • You will need to bring a laptop
  • We will cover how to edit files and create pages, events, products, and more.
  • How to update your site
  • and lots more stuff

If you light Cpanel help like how to create additional email forwarders, let me know. I can make you a small info doc on how to do these things.
